ArtyTots themed workshops provide a wonderful environment to unleash your child's imagination and creativity.  Children are given part-prepared and achievable projects, which all have not only an educational value, but also allow their concentration, motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination to develop.  Your child's self-confidence and your relationship with them will be enriched with each session.

ArtyTots workshops have been operating since February 2005.  The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal and the focus is on enjoying yourself and letting your child have total freedom to do what they want, without you having to worry about the mess they make!

All workshops are suitable for children aged from 18 months to 4 years.  Younger siblings are also welcome and often get involved in the activities with their older brother or sister.  Older children can also be accommodated during school holidays.  Aprons and light refreshments are provided for both child and adult.

With regards to the format of the workshop - usually about 45mins of art and craft during which the children have a choice of materials to choose from - some prefer to paint first and then do the themed activity;  others not.  It's very informal and the children work at their own pace, with their parent/carer's help.  Refreshments and biscuits are served during the last half hour and the children can run around and play in the hall.  Adults can then relax and chat over a nice cup of tea!
